My scrap happy May journey, utilises yarn left overs, some large and one gifted. I had leftover rainbow yarn. Tried several designs, frogged several times. Until The lovely ladies in Australia Crochet facebook page suggested a granny triangle.

Lots more rows and 3 triangles to go to become a prettier rainbow version. Surplus cream, from baby throws complete this piece.
Then a full 3 ply cake of variegated green. Half knitted by a friend who ripped it out as too dark for her liking. I am using the Ravelry free pattern Grace. Once complete it will go back to my friend to keep, gift, donate to local seniors club for a raffle prize perhaps. Its been a fun pattern so far.

I love a scrappy blanket, this is going to be great.
Love the granny triangle!
love the stripey effect and the green is fresh and pretty.
I like both the green (dark but lovely) and the rainbow granny triangle…yarn scraps in my house usually end up as wild socks which my middle child wears with wild abandon, but you’re tempting me to try a wild blanket!?
Yes do try, there are so many options, for creativity
clever friend to suggest working in stripes!
Yes, great Idea to make the yarn pop
