Frivolous

This weekend I have chipped away at some projects on my “Frivolous To Do List”. Craft related and quality time with my glue gun projects.

Early this year I made pedal pads. There ok, just decided to streamline. Custom cut some rubber non slip and glued to base. It works a lot better, so I am chuffed. So happy I also added dome to 2 of my 3 overlockers. I don’t have an overlocker fetish, I inherited 2 overlockers.

MILs 4 thread overlocker. This weekends project. Currently cleaning, rethread, tension etc. Will be gifted to a local charity who’s overlocker has died. So it will be well used and loved.

Next item on my frivolous list (lol). A project on my, I want one and do I really need it list. An item I spied on YouTube. The Lori Holt Portable Design Board, free tutorial. And decided I needed some x 5. Using leftover core board from Save the Stitches (To be laced, soon). Some wadding offcuts and precut 2.5 binding inch strips. Not a hard project, a little fiddly, yet will be very handy for preparing blocks for craft weekends.

Bonus project using left over tile offcuts, some wadding glued to base so they don’t scuff the table. The larger one to sit my hot glue gun which is missing it’s stand, a small portable iron or iron on my side table and protect it from the heat. The smaller tile for when I use my curling wand. I told you I was fulfilling my frivolous list.

What frivilous projects have you indulged in?

Until next time Happy Stitching 💚💙💜 Debbierose

    1. I thought frivolous was an interesting term to use. As the batting and fabric are not small. The board is 14inch square, in hindsight I could have used them for scrap happy post. LOL
