WOW another month has rolled by. That means it’s Scrap Happy Time.
When is a scrap, appear to not be a scrap. When it’s a slightly larger leftover, from a bag I made sometime ago. Bag lining left over in fact. I originally had a full metre, then snippped a bit for my lining, which I miss calculated, cut incorrectly, had a little tantrum and ended up with a larger scrap.
A left over large enough to make a bright squishy dinosaur. Adding scrap felt from a project decades ago. My felt scrap bucket also overflows from the days of felt applique Christmas ornaments.

What us ScrapHappy. A group open to anyone using up scraps of anything – no new materials. It can be a quilt block, pincushion, bag or hat, socks or a sculpture. Anything made of genuine scraps is eligible. If your scrap collection is out of control and you’d like to turn them into something beautiful or useful instead of leaving them to collect dust in the cupboard, why not join us on the 15th of each month? To join email Kate ir Gun, our cheerful scrap group admins.
This month we welcome our newest memberJules to our group. Here are the links for everyone who joins ScrapHappy from time to time (they may not post every time, but their blogs are still worth looking at).

OMG, what a cute dinosaur!!!!
He’s a cutie, and a perfect example of scrappiness, despite his size.
I love the squishy Stegosaurus, so green, and huggable!
