I have previously mentioned my MOTH bakes a yummy loaf of bread. Well he handed the dough to me to create some knot rolls. You see we “kneaded” to try something different 😂😂😂
After turning the dough onto unfloured board (oops) scraping if off and flouring the board. The fun began. As I wasn’t sure how big they would rise, I tried 2 sizes. The first few knots are a bit rough looking, then improved. A touch of milky glaze, a sprinkle of poppy seeds, some extra rising tine. Voila – crusty light rye bread rolls.
Now where is that butter. …..
